In order to learn how to invest using options, you must start at the beginning, which is first learning what an option is. From there, you need to learn the principles of option theory such as the option pricing model, the Greeks and synthetic positions.
Once mastering option theory, we can then move onto learning about the different strategies. From the standpoint of mechanics through rolling and morphing and finally to closing, the strategies are much more easily understood after learning option theory.
